These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your booking and participation in experiences offered by Drift Tour Japan (“DTJ”, “we”, “us”) and your use of drifttourjapan.au. By submitting a booking request or using the site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Bookings & confirmation

  • Submitting a request through the site does not create a confirmed booking. A booking is only confirmed once we have checked availability and confirmed it in writing.
  • Prices shown are indicative, in Australian Dollars (AUD), and may change until your booking is confirmed. Final pricing depends on package, dates, circuit and group size.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate information, including the names and details of all participants.

2. Payment

No payment is taken when you submit a request. Once your booking is confirmed we will advise the amount payable and the payment method. Online payments, where offered, are processed securely by Square. Your place is not secured until any required payment or deposit is received.

3. Eligibility & conduct

  • Participants must meet the minimum age and any licence or health requirements communicated for the relevant activity. Minors require a parent or guardian's consent and signed waiver.
  • You must follow all safety briefings, instructor directions and circuit rules at all times.
  • We may refuse or stop participation, without refund, where a participant is intoxicated, behaves unsafely, or is unfit to take part.

4. Assumption of risk & waiver

Drifting and motorsport activities are inherently dangerous. Participation requires a signed Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk. By booking you acknowledge these risks and agree to the waiver terms.

5. Travel, passports & insurance

  • For tours in Japan, you are responsible for valid travel documents, visas, and personal travel and medical insurance unless expressly stated as included.
  • Track-day insurance, where included, covers only the specified track activity and may carry an excess. It is not a substitute for personal travel or medical insurance.

6. Changes & cancellations by DTJ

Circuits, instructors, vehicles, dates and itinerary elements may change due to weather, mechanical, safety, availability or other factors beyond our control. We will use reasonable efforts to provide an equivalent experience or reschedule. Our cancellation and refund obligations are set out in the Booking & Refund Policy.

7. Vehicles & damage

Vehicles are provided in drift-ready condition. Reasonable wear from normal coached use is expected and covered. You may be responsible for damage caused by failure to follow instructions, reckless conduct, or breach of these Terms, up to any limits set out at the time of booking.

8. Media

We may capture photos and video during experiences for safety, coaching and promotional use. Tell us in writing if you do not consent to your image being used in marketing.

9. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights you have under applicable consumer protection law. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of re-supply, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
